Answer any one of the following questions in about 50-60 words.

 (a) ऐसा क्यों कहा जाता है कि वाद्य यंत्र सहजता से पांच स्थायी तक पहुंच सकते हैं? (पाठ-6 देखें)

Why is it said that musical instruments can reach five Sthayis effortlessly?

 (b कुछ वायु वाद्ययंत्र में श्रुति यंत्र से ही जुड़ी होती है। उदाहरण सहित कम से कम दो कारण दीजिए। (पाठ-6 देखें)

 'In some wind musical instruments, the Sruti is fixed to the instrument itself. Give at least two reasons with examples. (See lesson-6)

 2. निम्नलिखित प्रश्नों में से किसी एक प्रश्न का उत्तर लगभग 50-60 शब्दों में दीजिए। Answer any one of the following questions in about 50-60 words each.

 (a) 'कई संगीतज्ञों ने अलग-अलग गमक दिए हैं, कर्नाटक संगीत में प्रयुक्त उन गमकों के नाम लिखिए ।

 (b) उन श्रुतियों की संख्या लिखिए, जिसे संगीतज्ञों द्वारा सामान्यतः स्वीकार किया जाता है।

 Write the number of Srutis, which is commonly accepted by musicologists.

 Write the definition and classification of Sruti in Carnatic music.

(b) गमक क्या है? संगीत रत्नाकार में गमकाओं का उल्लेख किस प्रकार किया गया है?

 4. निम्नलिखित प्रश्नों में से किसी एक प्रश्न का उत्तर लगभग 100-150 शब्दों में दीजिए।

 Answer any one of the following questions in about 100-150 wards each.

 (a) 'सभी सरली वारिसाई में अलग-अलग क्रम परिवर्तन और संयोजन के साथ स्वरों का एक सुंदर सेट है। इस कथन को अपने शब्दों में प्रस्तुत कीजिए। (पाठ - 4 देखें )

'All Sarali Varisais have a beautiful set of Swaras with different permutations and combinations'. Justify the statement in your own words. (See lesson-4)

 (b) उस राग का नाम लिखिए जो पढाई शुरू करने वाले शिक्षार्थी के लिए सीखना आसान हो और स्वर एक दूसरे से संतुलित दूरी पर हों । उस राग के बारे में कुछ पंक्तियाँ लिखिए। (पाठ-2 देखें)

Name the raga which is easy for beginners to learn, and the Swaras stand in balanced distance from one another. Write a few lines about that raga. (See lesson-2)

(a) ताल के छह अंग उनके चिन्ह और अक्षरकला (समय अवधि) और प्रवाह चार्ट में गणना की विधि के साथ लिखिए। (पाठ-2 देखें)

Write the six Angas of Talas with their sign and Aksharakala (time duration), and method of reckoning in the flow chart. (See lesson-2)

(b) सुलादी सप्त तालों के नाम, उनके अंग और समय अवधि के साथ का एक प्रवाह चार्ट बनाइए।

 Draw a flow chart of Suladi Sapta Talas with the name of those talas, their angas, and time duration. (See lesson 2)

 6. निम्नलिखित में से कोई एक परियोजना कार्य तैयार कीजिए । Prepare any one project work out of the given below:

 (a) सरली वारिसाई की महत्वपूर्ण विशेषताएँ लिखिए तथा आरोही व अवरोही क्रम में किन्हीं दो वारिसाई का भी उल्लेख कीजिए | (पाठ - 4 देखें )

 Write the important features of Sarali Varisai, and also mention any two Varisai with ascending and descending order. (See lesson - 4)

(b) किन्हीं चार वाद्य यंत्रों के नाम लिखिए जिनमें कंपन में स्थापित होने से ध्वनि उत्पन्न होती है। उनके किन्हीं तीन छायाचित्रों को एकत्रित कीजिए और उपकरणों के बारे में विस्तार से लिखिए | (पाठ-6 देखें)
